I saw a toy hanging on my room off of my shelves and never really thought of it having anything to do with physics. There is tension in the chain that holds it up which is equal to the force of gravity pulling it down. This means the net force is equal to zero. However, i tried hanging from this metal chain also and it did not hold up my weight. This meant that the force pulling down exceeded the maximum force the chain could pull upwards.

This definitely sounds like you! Though perhaps not the most spectacular of examples, it counts just the same because it represents physics slowly invading your conscious and subconscious states. And that's good. Hehe!
